Aidan provides leadership and support to the experienced BIC team in their role supporting entrepreneurs and startups in the South East. He has extensive knowledge of the startup ecosystem having assisted numerous entrepreneurs with their startup and growth strategies. Aidan has extensive knowledge and experience in getting startups investor-ready and helping them secure both public and private equity funding. Prior to working with startups in BIC, Aidan worked in Japan and Ireland in accounting and finance roles in the dairy and technology sectors.   An MBA, Aidan has special interest in areas such as strategy development, business modelling and financial planning.

Rosemary assists entrepreneurial clients throughout their start-up journey using business modelling, business planning and strategic planning. She has successfully worked with clients to access funding through business angels, venture capital and private investors as well as financial institutions and government agencies, particularly Enterprise Ireland’s PSSF and HPSU funding. With five years’ experience as Trade Marketing Manager with Waterford Crystal, Rosemary has more than ten years sales and marketing experience in multinational and national technology, consumer goods and retail companies. Rosemary has a B. Comm (International/Spanish) from UCD.  In 2021 she completed her certification from the Digital Marketing Institute in Digital Marketing Strategy & Planning.

Michelle is an experienced business advisor who works primarily within European Projects that focus on entrepreneurship and business supports across all sectors.  Her broad business experience enables Michelle to work with a wide range of start-up and growth companies on all aspects of business planning, development and financial management.  Michelle established and directed a successful healthcare business for 10 years and played a pivotal role in the founding of the national private homecare representative organisation. Alex has an MSc in Digital Marketing and a background in event management.  Her role at South East BIC is to develop the annual promotional plan by organising all digital marketing for the organisation including social media, company website and content for the monthly Startup Digest.  The promotional calendar features a number of online and in-person events for startups which Alex develops, promotes and executes.  Alex lived in the middle east for 10 years where she worked with large brands including FIFA, WWE and the Harlem Globetrotters.

She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French & German and postgrad qualifications in Marketing. Deirdre is a blow in from Kerry and has lived in Waterford since 2000.
