South East BIC Business Consultants work through a process of Business Modelling, Planning and Investor Readiness depending on the Startup’s stage of development.
Understanding funding requirements and articulating the business strategy to attract the right funding at the right time is crucial. We specifically support the development of Enterprise Ireland High Potential StartUps (HPSU) with focus on preparation for the pre-seed Instrument, the Pre-Seed Start Fund (PSSF) and as the startup progresses to a Seed round, we prepare them for that seed investment round and ultimately to become an invested HPSU by Enterprise Ireland.
South East BIC works with clients to develop business models and plans for capital raising activities, including private equity and large government grants and equity investment.
We assist clients to articulate a clear business model. We review and coach the client in the preparation of financial projections and investment documentation in order to illustrate the scale of opportunity that exists.
We do this through business modelling, business planning and strategy development and delivered usually through one to one supports, working through commercial and technical validation, attracting first customers and a strong sales pipeline and understanding the resourcing necessary for building out an international business model and capable team.
The objective of this is to attract both private and state investors including angel investors, seed funds, and Enterprise Ireland PSSF and HPSU investment.
We assist clients identify and match the most appropriate funding method for their current strategy and help prepare the business plan to access the most appropriate finance for their stage of development.We provide assistance with the development of their financial model and investor ready business plan to secure the correct type of funding.
We provide sign-posting and introductions to regional and national funders, both private and state backed, such as Private Investors, Seed Funds, VCs, Enterprise Ireland, and the Local Enterprise Offices.
Managed by South East BIC, the Incubation Centre @ South East BIC is an affordable office solution for entrepreneurs and scale-ups. The Incubation Centre @ South East BIC offers businesses flexible, affordable office space in Waterford (based in the IDA Industrial Estate, Cork Road, Waterford) , with free access to on-site consultants to support your startup or scaleup.
Individual or two-person offices (with their own lockable door), 24 hour access, broadband, meeting room facilities, printers etc are all included. South East BIC consultants are available to work with innovative Incubation Centre clients.
Our BIC clients are spread across the region based in coworking spaces such as the Hatch Lab in Gorey, Arclabs in Waterford and Kilkenny, Worklab and BoxWorks in Waterford and the local Enterprise Centres located throughout the region.
