The Women in Business Forum 2023, hosted business women from the region, with a focus on three important topics for start ups.

Siobhan Oates, CFO with local business Klearcom, opened the event, giving advice to attendees on how to prepare for funding rounds. Innovation was the next topic on the agenda and Lynne Whelan from SETU, talked the businesswomen through her framework for Design Thinking. The step-by-step approach helps to identify interconnectedness within the organisations ecosystem, and identify business ideas and opportunities. The final speaker was Killowen Farm's Pauline Dunne who described how the business grew from family dairy to the international exporter they are today. Killowen is a true success story for the south east and we were delighted Pauline shared her experience at our event.
